What if my buyer never confirms they received it?

After you mark an order as shipped, your buyer has 72 hours to confirm or open a dispute. If neither happens, the money releases to you automatically. We'll send them WhatsApp reminders during that window so they don't forget.

What happens if a buyer disputes a transaction?

For transactions under GHS 500, our 24-hour fast-track kicks in. You get an instant WhatsApp alert with 24 hours to respond — approve the refund, share your evidence (delivery photo, chat screenshots), or reject. If you don't respond, the buyer is refunded from our insurance pool. For amounts over GHS 500, we review manually with 7-day evidence windows for both sides.

Do I need to register a business to use Block2Pay?

No. Your Ghana Card is enough for individual sellers up to GHS 50,000/month transaction volume. Adding a business registration certificate and TIN unlocks higher limits up to GHS 500,000/month and beyond.

How fast do I get paid after a buyer confirms?

Within one hour. MTN MoMo payouts usually land in minutes; Telecel and AirtelTigo can take up to an hour. You'll get a WhatsApp confirmation the moment payout completes.

Is this regulated by Bank of Ghana?

Block2Pay is operated by Taafpay Limited Company (registered 2020). We're filing for PFTSP licensing with Bank of Ghana, and in the meantime we operate via partnership with Flutterwave, which holds a Bank of Ghana Enhanced Payment Service Provider (PSP) license. All funds are held in Flutterwave's regulated account — never on our own balance sheet.

What's the "TaafPay Verified" badge and how do I get it?

After you verify your Ghana Card (takes about 5 minutes via our partner Prembly), you become a TaafPay Verified seller. You can put the badge on your Instagram bio, WhatsApp catalog, website, or print it on your business cards. The badge links back to your storefront so buyers can see your sales count, dispute rate, and rating — the trust signal Ghana social commerce has been missing.

What about cross-border or international buyers?

MVP is Ghana-only — both sellers and buyers must have a Ghana mobile money account. Pan-African expansion is on the roadmap once we secure PFTSP licensing and the Ghana-Rwanda fintech passport opens up.
